Nothing is charged until your receiver ships.
The pilot batch is not open yet. When it is, this is the whole of it — four moments, and you are told before money moves at any of them.

Nothing is charged. We save your card and record the reservation, and your location is checked against Northing RTK coverage before any of it — if the service cannot reach your fields, we say so then.

$999 is charged, once. That is the receiver and the first 12 months of Northing RTK together — the included year starts when the hardware is on its way to you, not when you ordered.

The reminder email before every renewal is a promise published here, not a setting we may quietly change. Heavy commercial use — thousands of connected hours a year — has a fair-use ceiling stated plainly in the terms.

The year-two cost is the single biggest gap between a quote and a cost in this market, so here is ours out to five years — subscribed the whole way, and cancelled after the included year.

Before you pay
Check that RTK reaches your fields.
Northing RTK is coverage-bound and we would rather you knew the edges before buying than after. Your location is checked at checkout, and we will not sell you a subscription for a location it cannot serve — but if it matters to your decision, check now rather than at the end of a form.
Outside coverage?
Being outside coverage does not make the hardware a bad purchase — it makes it a 10–20 cm instrument instead of a 2.5 cm one, permanently and for free. Whether that is worth $999 depends entirely on your work, and RTK vs PPP is written to help you decide rather than to talk you into it.

What happens if I cancel the subscription?
The receiver keeps working — it never bricks and there's no lock-in. It falls back to Northing Global, the free positioning mode built into every receiver, which works anywhere on Earth with no subscription: accuracy is 10–20 cm and takes minutes to settle after power-on — fine for rough guidance, not for repeatable centimeter work. Where does RTK coverage reach?
Contiguous US & Canada, most of Europe, Japan, South Korea, New Zealand, Brazil, and parts of Australia — with a map and the gaps spelled out in the coverage guide. We check your location at checkout: if RTK doesn't cover you, we'll tell you before you pay, not after.
Will I get surprise charges?
